Meet the Family

Duke
BON VIVANT, SCRIBE AND CAPTAIN OF INDUSTRY
Equally at ease in Wall Street and Ouagadougou, Duke has made the globe his home. Along the way, he’s amassed a fortune and a stash of rejection slips for the many novels that he’s penned. Of late, the demands of his spectacularly successful businesses put a squeeze on his adventures, but now this entrepreneur/explorer is raring to hit the road again. Whether dancing the samba at Copacabana Palace or reigniting romance on the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express, Duke knows—and wants his family to know—that the most important part of being well traveled is traveling well.
Watch Duke:

Penelope “Penny”
GORGEOUS GALLERINA, ENCHANTING EXPLORER
There’s more to the most level-headed member of the family than meets the eye. Penny never lets her deep curiosity dissolve her calm demeanor, giving her the rare ability to stand out while blending in. Never needing a guidebook for her global adventures, Penny makes an art of everyday life. But a pop-up party under Venetian skies with her family and friends is something even this gorgeous gallerina will cherish forever.
Watch Penny:

Lauren
ELEGANT AESTHETE, DOMESTIC ARTISTE
On the surface, Lauren’s life appears totally sweet and smooth. Whether posting on her style blog, creating a mantra du jour or simply keeping her children in check, she does everything with grace, humor and a finely-tuned iPad. One minute she’s planning an impromptu party for her daughter at Venice’s Hotel Cipriani; the next she’s playing an alluring game of “hide and seek” with her husband on the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express. Lauren fulfills her roles as wife, mother, epicurean and aesthete with an air of deceptive ease.

Maximillian “Max”
DIGITAL STRATEGIST SEEKING NEW STRATEGIES
What Max lacks in nerve and experience, he makes up for with a meticulous sense of detail (inherited, of course, from Lauren). Ideally suited to his career as a digital strategist, he likes to keep things in order as he strives for the swashbuckling style of dear old Dad. A trip to his father’s former haunts in Rio and a rendezvous with his mother in Peru shows Max it’s what you don’t plan for that makes life worth living.
